Elise Hearst



Elise graduated from Creative Arts at Melbourne University in 2005. She is a founding member of KumQuat Theatre for which she has written, acted and produced work over the past 6 years. She attended World Interplay 2005 and in 2006 won an award for the Monash University National Playwright's Competition for her play Apple. In 2006 she relocated to London to attend the Royal Court Theatre's Young Writer's Programme and had work performed at the Soho Theatre, Hamspstead Theatre, Theatre 503 and the Trafalgar Studios. Since her recent return to Melbourne her play DIRTYLAND was work-shopped at the 2008 National Script Workshop run by Playwriting Australia.
